TDECU Stadium.

aka Texas Dow Employees Credit Union. Unconventional, but they've got 2 Billion in assets.

No announcement but a few of the stadium website pages have been updated to reflect the name.

Unless I'm missing something, the link in the OP doesn't lead to anything.

As there aren't many ways left for the Power 5 conference to f#@k us, I am surprised that the Power 5 schools, awash in money, aren't using our stadium naming rights opportunities as a means to promote themselves and add insult to injury.

If you google it, the results still show TDECU stadium in the preview for the pulled link. "In addition, we wanted TDECU Stadium to have a unique look and character easily differentiated from the majority of other collegiate stadiums throughout the..."

Bit of an unusual name, even in the corporate-naming era. But if they've got the most money, what the heck...

ECU fans are gonna LOVE this. "Touchdown ECU right here at TDECU stadium..." lol

No way... that would make it the most expensive naming rights deal in history and that my friend is NOT happening at Houston.

RE: UH secures naming rights on their new stadium...
Houston (the city) has some pretty expensive naming rights for their stadiums, but 1.1b? I really need to see sources on this one. Reliant is 12m/year which would be 91.6 years at 1.1b

Minute Maid - 7.4m/year
Toyota center- 6m/year

Citi field - 21m/year
Barclays, AT&T, Met Life - 20,19,19m/year
