German and French were useless, to me, but Latin was extremely important to use English properly. Nice to know the reason for the difference between an alumnus and alumna.

I used cursive throughout undergraduate and graduate school because I couldn't type. I can't imagine trying to do a final exam essay without cursive.

I haven't used Celestial Mechanics too often but at least I know what a Lagrange point is.

I really got a laugh a week ago when Fitbud, a teacher (or so he says), mixed up principal and principle.

That's not as bad as most. Though the students might be confused if they're told to go see the principle.

Nope, not that I can figure out. Where might I use algebra on a daily basis?

He's only a teacher in his mind. He's no more a teacher than I'm an astronaut. Poor kid.

Well, if a train leaves NY traveling 60 mph, and one leaves 30 minutes later from Chicago...

All I have to do is convince my wife to take the train. She'll want to fly so that equation won't jive and there's no right answer. IAF

Yeah, I guess you don't need too much knowledge for a job like that.

This....I'm trying to think of what I still remember. Maybe some algebra, maybe some concepts from physics and physical science, some computer skills.

Easily advanced bowling and Int Tennis. Haven't really done either since.

How do you get a B in bowling? Start out pretty good, like 165 or so and only show "modest improvement to around 180.

Buddy at the time started out sucking wind, say an 80, and got to around 135 or so. Got an A+...03-banghead
