Coca-Cola was an official beverage sponsor at the 1936 Olympics.

We don't need to get into the list of current companies that were directly involved in the Reich and the holocaust. My dad is getting hearing aides next month made by Seimens. Just one of a dozen or so heavy hitters still around today and prosperous. I guess Bayer is the one that strikes me the most for Zyklon B.

I'm pretty sure Tolstoy's grandchildren were toddlers when he started telling that story.

I think I read that the one of Bin Laden isn't real. The pic is real, but that's not Bin Laden.

If you never been to Machu Pichu I'd highly recommend going. I've been twice and the place/views are spectacular.

No elevators and not that many stairs. You fly to Cusco, take a train from Cusco to the mountain, and then a bus to the top of the mountain. If you're a money bags you can take a helicopter from Cusco to the mountain.

However, the really neat thing to do is hike the Inca Trail. Takes a couple of days/nights but you get to hike and camp out under the stars. YOu get to pay porters to haul all your stuff as well. I haven't done the hike yet, but plan to when the kids get older.
