As I said, we've been through this already a year ago back when you guys were talking about what you were gonna do to us in football. We provided the evidence on the hand signal, and you guys provided the hot air. We then also provided the win on the football field, and you guys provided, well, you did your best.

And we provided a sweep in basketball this year, and next year, and next year. Well, you get the picture.

Yeah, it is an LOL right now. Basketball definitely needs work. We actually had pretty good teams back in the late 80's-early 90's. Our current coach actually has the worst win/loss percentage of any of the men's basketball coaches we've had in our program so far, and I've been a big critic of him in Roadrunner fan circles in the last year or two until I found out a couple months ago that he has brought our basketball program up academically in a major way. Now I'm willing to give him one more shot.

At any rate, his contract was extended last year, so he will be around a bit longer, and will get that shot at redemption. We have some pretty decent talent coming in this season (probably not up to UTEP standards because UTEP has a very solid basketball program), but I'm hoping we'll at least finish around .500 and perhaps in the middle of the pack. We'll see though.
