anyway that's why i hate college football's system. they have a pre-season ranking which is biased towards the so called power teams and you have an uphill battle to climb higher. so yeah half our teams are ranked below 86, but that's this guy's opinion.

Both Myerberg at USAToday and the Orlando countdown have previewed seven American schools:

Tulane
Tulsa
SMU
USF
Temple
Memphis
UConn

Neither countdown has previewed UT-San Antonio, Rice or North Texas from CUSA West.

At Houston, we miss East Carolina and play UCF and Cincy. We open the season with UT-San Antonio. Apparently, the pundits think our opener will be more difficult than six of our league contests.
