All idiots. I can't handle idiots.

You surely can't handle anything with all that liberal water you are carrying

Good to see you guys spouting off buzzwords and phrases you really don't understand.

So clever.

I'm glad to see your all's razor sharp wit hasn't dulled in my absence.

And the karma will come with it. Let them set their own fuse and light it. You don't need to do the legwork for them.

But no matter. Generalizing diverse populations with such maliciousness helps no one. If anything it weakens my opinion of you as I feel you should know better. Social liberals should know more than anyone what generalizing oppressive words can do to psyche.

Your life your choice. I'll save my bitter words for those who earn it... not the people I know little about.

other than killing bin laden, I can't think of one thing that our president has done that I actually supported. But I am uncomfortable when the president is called a liar.

respect the office, even if you don't support the current office holder.

I believe SEAL Team SIX killed bin Laden. Obama gets credit for being president when SEAL Team SIX killed bin Laden. I would also give him credit for being president when SEAL Team SIX rescued the merchant marine captain from the Somali pirates.

And I don't see that calling Obama a liar is disrespecting the office, if he is in fact lying. It's disrespecting Obama personally, but if he's lying then it's he that's lying, not the office.

Where there may be some difference of opinion is whether an alleged lie is actually a lie.

My feelings exactly. However, whoever suggested her as running mate is the real culprit.

But at least now, she serves two purposes. First she can be the over-the-top critic of the Obama administration. She'll never be a serious candidate, so she can b!tch about Obama and Hillary, 'til her hear's content

Second, she really pi$$es off the libs. I still get a kick out of how many of those guys continue to mention the "I can see Russia from my porch" statement that Tina Fey said on SNL.

McCain tried to tell them she was not the right running mate. I thought at the time that a McCain/Lieberman ticket would have given Obama a very good run. It was the GOPs shot at reaching across the aisle and bring in a moderate to balance the ticket and help win independent votes. She did nothing to help that.

Why was she wrong for the ticket?

McCain was already the "Moderate" on the ticket. Why do you think he got the "maverick" Label? Because he wasn't a conservative republican, and went across the aisle PLENTY of times.

Lieberman would have just been another moderate on the ticket. And I liked JL as a possible VP choice, but Palin was the right choice at the time. Anyone who thinks she was the reason that McCain lost is just buying into the media narrative that she was "just a hick from Alaska".

And it wasn't McCain who didn't like Sarah, it was McCain's presidential campaign people. They felt that Liebermann would be low-key enough that it would allow McCain to be in the spotlight, and not the VP candidate. The problem was, you either elected "Democrat" (Obama) or "Democrat-Lite" (McCain, as he showed none of his fire or intensity during the campaign.)

Okla's right though... Once Obama got the Democratic nomination, there was no way the media wasn't going to push every message they could to make sure Obama was "the" guy. Wouldn't have matter who was the Republican nominee.

we shouldn't know who killed bin laden. that's just another failing of this bumbling administration. but, yes. I am aware that the president didnt personally pull the trigger. and I know what a lie is. I'm still not comfortable with that word being used on the president, irrespective of who it is.

By the media, do you include Rushy and Fox? they are part of the media as well. Or do you mean mainstream and left leaning media?

I differentiate between the cable media (and AM Radio) and Media, OD. I'm referring to the "big 3" (ABC, CBS, NBC) and newspapers, which is where most people still get their news from, ODU.

How do you figure that? After she was announced as a running mate, McCain led Obama in the polls for a couple of weeks.

Her counterpart was Joe the human gaffe machine Biden. If people were willing to vote that numbnut brain, then nobody was going to be good enough to beat them.

mccain/palin lead in the polls until the "worst financial crisis since the great depression". then, in a fit of pique, we made the worst electoral decision since jimmeh carter.
