Greed
For Profit College Admits Man With 3rd Grade Education

A condemnation of the for-profit education model and our public schools if there ever was one.

The fact they were charging him $45,000 for his 'degree' is utterly disgraceful, if not downright criminal.

I wouldn't put public schools and for profit schools in the same boat. One has its problems, the other is just utter crap.

RE: Greed
Many for profit schools are nothing more than shylocks pretending to be legit. I feel for the ignorant folks who fall prey to these people. They are hard driving, high pressure salesmen who promise the prospective students the world. They should be illegal, but that would involve government oversight, something many of us oppose.

You would be wrong. They share some of my views, but on others I see them as anarchists, and extreme liberals.

Yeah, me to. See we do agree on something! I was taught years and years ago in political science that a liberal and a conservative, if they go to far in either direction, eventually meet. One is the same as the other, AT the EXTREME.

So, can we agree you see a place, albeit limited, for a federal government?
