Its not that the tribe was set on religion.. Ireland was as Catholic as Italy but the reason they were a people was blood and history.

You're right but I didn't think I needed to get that deep for my point that arbitrary measures are often used to establish tribes.

Hey I was partially raised Presbyterian myself. Here it's not that they are dangerous, they're the rich kids.

Racial tensions between the Latinos and Blacks been sketchy for a while now esp on the west coast & Texas. First time I've heard about an incident in Baltimore though.

But the ignorance being spewed is crazy to me.

Some are, some aren't.

Hispanics of direct Spanish descent are as white as I am, but they're still called hispanic. Hispanic simply means "relating to Spain or to Spanish-speaking countries," it doesn't mean you're brown. One of my best friends in high school was hispanic, but she was pale white. Her mother came from a family of Spanish descent, but they had immigrated to the American southwest before that was even a part of the U.S.
