Pro Golf - Curtis, Hughes, Mills and Yip in action
Ben Curtis is playing this week in Tennessee's FedEx St. Jude's Classic. He shot an even par today and is tied for 66th. Hopefully, he can build off of last week's awesome week. You can follow Ben here: http://www.pgatour.com/leaderboard.html
Mackenzie Hughes is playing in the Cleveland Open on the web.com tour. He shot 2 over today and will need to do some work to make the cut. You can follow Mackenzie here: http://www.pgatour.com/webcom/leaderboard.html
Ryan Yip and Mills is playing in the PGA Canada Tour this week in Victoria, British Columbia (did you know that a major sticking point to negotiations between Great Britain and the US over the Oregon Territory was the desire for the US to have what is now Victoria, British Columbia?). Anyway, Yip shot even today and is right around the cut line, whereas Mills is 3 over. You can follow it here at http://www.pgatour.com/canada/en_us/leaderboard.html
John Hahn seems to be at a wedding this weekend based on his twitter account.
Also, some US Open news: Ryan Yip and John Hahn both played in the sectional qualifiers and did not make the cut. Ben Curtis said he is spending the week on the couch at home as he didn't like the yardages he saw. I couldn't find Hughes anywhere, so I don't know if he even tried, but I don't think he'll be in it based on what I've seen.

A little off topic but I was watching an episode of "Through the Worm Hole" with Morgan Freeman and they did some kind of golf experiment using one of Ben Curtis's putters.

Curtis had a nice weekend and finished tied for 32nd. A big deal here is that Curtis is now 125th in the FedEx standings, and 125 keep their cards for next year.
Hughes made the cut in Cleveland and finished tied for 55th. It's been a rough run for Hughes (he's only made 4 of 10 cuts), but this is his best finish.
Ryan Yip finished tied for 13th and Jon Mills missed the cut in Canada.
