Critics unanimously rate this a must see/fresh/thumbs up. Tom Cruise against the Alien Invaders, what could possibly go wrong?

LOL, that's really not a spoiler. That part of the plot has already been revealed. Of course some of us will know his fate later tonight. Select theaters are showing the movie tonight.

That movie was directed by a Virginia Beach native.

Just like Tilted Kilt is Hooters meets Braveheart, this is Ground Hog Day meets SciFi

Just got back from watching it. I'm gonna give it a 6 out of 10. The Groundhog Day repeat idea is very cool but it kinda gets old after it's done many many times. Emily Blunt is a hot English babe. *Insert English muffin joke here.* While I'm not a Tom Cruise fan, I thought he was a really good fit for the character. If you don't have anything else going on, I'd recommend it but it's not a MUST SEE movie in my opinion.

Ground Hog Day meets War of the Worlds meets Avatar meets Minority Report meets Bourne Identity meets ...... well, you'll have to watch the ending to figure what movie it reminds you of.

The ground hog day effect wasn't explained until Cruise died several times. So I can understand why the scene would start to get tiring for some. Afterwards the repeated ground hog day effect was understandable and necessary for the plot to progress.

I rate it a must see.

The Fault in Our Stars might beat it out in ticket sales.
