Is the "Improper use of a John Belushi image" flag a 5, 10, or 15 yard penalty?

That is not going to happen. UCF sits in the middle of one of the best recruiting areas in the country. Do you really think a program that recruits Florida would turn down a chance for their recruits to play in front of their families? I just don't see that happening.

Sure it will, Florida is not going to help make the UCF football program liginamite! Just like it took the Kentucky State Government to make UK play us! 07-coffee3

Just as predicted...the knee pad sympathizer shows up to talking out of his A$$.

ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, etc...probably agreed with much of what GOL said...as those conf don't want to leave the NCAA...something SEC Commish has threatened to do.

Dude...many P5 teams have already been dodging UCF, well before GOL's comments. (Heck, KSU bought out their return game at UCF because they knew they were lucky to beat UCF at home in the closing seconds of that game). Most P5 teams aren't as good as South Carolina...and they obviously don't want to schedule a tough road non-conf game if they can avoid it (hence other teams scheduling games vs FIU, FAU, and USF instead).

That's why your previous post was BS.

I'm still stunned that even insiders like O'Leary aren't paying attention to what is really going on.

The threat to make a new division has nothing to do with the G% and those outside it. The council has already capitulated to cost-of-attendance thresholds.

This whole controversy is about voting thresholds INSIDE the P5. Has nothing to do with those outside.

In other words, the fighting here is between P5 conferences, like the Pac12/B1G against the SEC.

Did you hear GOL call out the Pac-12 Commish?

Did you hear GOL call out the Big Ten Commish?

No...you heard him call out the SEC Commish.

Dang...even posters can't even follow what is actually said.

Nobody hates the SEC more than I do, but the yankee bias in O'Leary's statement was ignorant and uncalled for.

Yeah...one shouldn't DARE call out the SEC's desire to SECEDE from their collective Union (NCAA) with specific threats.

Guess GOL should have done what everyone else does when SEC makes threat...."don't say a word and cuddle with fear".

Disagree. I bet Slive is pretty much speaking for the P5. So far, nothing, even cost of attendance, has been formally agreed to by anyone. Slive is putting pressure on the non-P5 to do just that.

The SEC Commish is the only one who made that threat--directed at the P5.

People can't follow what is going on.

How can you possibly disagree with this when the particulars of ths argument are about voting thresholds in the P5.

People are simply not paying attention to what is going on. Read the articles. It's in there. Why in the world would the G5 really care whether it takes 39 or 43 P5 teams to pass rules?
