Will be a record payout for WKU...Also we have a lot of guys on our roster from Alabama and we are continuing to recruit the Bama hard, so at least a close trip for moms and dads to watch their sons play...

I am confused though, I thought NIck Saban did not want to play these type of games anymore?

Not even Saban gets complete power over who Bama plays.

Actually it makes a lot of sense to play one high profile game.
If you had an undefeated season it would take actually winning a game
like this to be under consideration for the final 4

Keeping a game like like this close and going 11-1 may be enough to
get to get the one big time bowl bid promised to

We also get Vanderbilt at home two weeks later

I've noticed Western is making a big effort to schedules most OOC games with in a 1 to 5 hour bus ride

good for us fans and the budget

If you're going to play a money game-might as well play one where you get the most moolah.
Bigger payout helps limit these to once a year and if you budget right you can skip it altogether every three or four years.

Be very careful & watchful if you happen to win - flora & fauna aren't safe as they don't handle humility lessons well

I'm excited about this game. Beautiful stadium and fans were terrific last time. Easy day trip if the kick is reasonable time. Word is I might have an in with someone with top self (not upper deck ) seats that will be available to me and mine. Al this close travel I might have to work extra hours just to keep making games.
