Wait ... so your saying there is a relationship between Purdue the Boilermakers and Purdue the University? Huh, imagine that.

Is that why we could get cheap tickets to go see the Vols play the cupcakes when I was in grad school in Knoxville? And here I thought it was some kind of special deal arranged by the department.

Well, I guess if that's the case, its a secondary possibility that somebody just went to that "Purdue University" place.

Its not that hard, given that it was silly on purpose.

Which is kind of how I suspect somebody at Purdue reacted to this helmet idea ... "well's, its a bit of a silly idea, but since it won't look bad on TV, why not let the supporters have some fun".
