It's not even that. They stood there and filmed people dying. Anyone who does this doesn't deserve to walk the earth.

I remember seeing the video tape of by-stander Roger Olian trying to rescue survivors
of Air Florida flight 90. The whole time I was thinking… put down the camera and help.

Social media, narcissism, selfies, and You Tube. These deaths are a result of liberalism and the millennial generation as a whole.

Probably thought they could make some profit from it. Sickening.

I could understand if someone didn't have the guts to attempt a rescue but to just sit there and film is pretty bad.

I saw a story yesterday, where a man threw a woman into some bushes and began to sexually assault her. Her screams were heard by 4 men, who then worked the guy over until the police arrived to arrest/rescue him.

I'm an optimist. There are still a helluva lot of good people in the world.

I think it has to do with underlying conservative ideals in our society. As a majority, the people in this country don't care about one another, it's just everyone looking out for themselves.

I think you have a warped viewpoint. Maybe it's because of whom you hang out with. I think looking out for oneself and not caring about others is far more characteristic of liberals than conservatives. Conservatives give more to charity, even after discounting for churches, which themselves do a lot of good work for others. It's the liberals that you hear complaining about what somebody else has, as in 99% versus 1%.

Hey, I'm just pointing out how easy it is to spin this into "oh, cons are at fault for this" or the common "libs r destroying r way of lyfe!!!" sentiment....

Oh, and using the typical lib arguing point to respond to the rest of your post....cons only donate money to charities b/c it's tax deductible. Donating your time means you actually do care a lot more imo.
