Really though...Army had a hard enough time in Conference USA. They'd struggle again in the American.

I would be for having another quasi-alliance with Army for a few games each year. Maybe between them and BYU we could get 6 total a year to spread around. Also tie the bowls into this. Could help obtain some stronger bowl tie ins. We would almost be a lock for all 6 years in the Armed Forces which would be an improvement.

I wouldn't be in favor of adding them as a member unless they were able to get to a similar level as Navy on a consistent basis.
