I think given the dismal outlook most folks had for the roundball team we should all be pretty pleased w/ the season so far. The new players are clearly better than we all thought which is a good thing.

We're just now getting into SEC play, but given the way we stayed w/ UF & then destroyed a down UGA team it looks like we'll be more competitive then we thought. Add that to our cool win over NC State & I think some type of post season play's in this team's future.

Hope so anyway!

Me too Rap. If we can get 6-7 more wins then I think we'll be dancing. If that doesn't work out then hopefully we'll land an NIT bid & make some real noise there like 2 years ago.

Rather be dancin' though.

...and yes, Yardcock baseball's coming up fast. Should be another great year for Ray & the troops.

Yeah, i was at the game and the crowd was nuts. Wasn't that the largest crowd to attend a basketball game in the state of South Carolina... Everytime Wingate stepped onto the court he got boo-ed. "Boo That Man!!!" was a memorable qoute from a fan next to me.

I'd also like to mention that USC mens basketball is ranked #25 in the AP poll on espn's website

We're climbing up the ranks!

Yep. 25 in AP. 28 in Coaches.

The guys on tv did mention a couple of times that the UT game was the most viewed ever in the state. 17.8K

Way to rock! 04-rock

Rap! Where you at?! 03-confused

Absolutely! I was out of town this weekend & didn't get to listen to the game, but I've read up on it some. Sounded similar to the Auburn game, but with the bizarre finish.

Crappy shooting, tough defense, & a late run hi-lighted by a big basket from Powell to get the win.

Denzik, saw where we had another record crowd on hand. Another good job!
