4 Big 12 teams advance to the Super Regional
Texas Tech and TCU will host super regionals, Oklahoma St will host if UC Irvine beats Oregon St and it appears Texas (they knocked a&m out) will host UH( UH is beating LSU 9-2 right now)

Nice to see Texas stick it to greedy A&M who bolted for that SEC money.

Misinformed opinion. TA&M bolted the Texas based mathematically challenged conference to get away from UT and their bloated egos, now they are out-recruiting UT. I'd say it worked out pretty well for TA&M, and the move was in their best interest. Now when I think of college football in the state of Texas my first thought is of TA&M not UT, and I don't have a dog in this fight (figuratively).

ahh.. the B12 right now makes more than the SEC per school. They took a pay cut not raise to move.

False. A&M now has a big recruiting advantage over Texas and have you seen how much money they have been able to raise since joining the SEC?

Almost half of the top 15 revenue producing programs are in the SEC and that's with a lower TV contract. There's more to revenue than just TV money.

That's more a measure of how short memoried many sports fans are. UT was in the BCS title game in 2009. A&M hasn't finished better than 3rd in their division in the SEC, but they had a little better record and higher rankings than Texas the last 3 years.

Once again, the Longhorn network didn't exist when Colorado and Nebraska left. Texas A&M's president has said at that time he had already decided to leave. He was just getting his political ducks in a row. Missouri left when OU started flirting with the Pac 12. Amazing how many misinformed people there are. The LHN was irrelevant in schools leaving the Big 12.

A&M was pissed because the LHN had said they would show high school content and everyone got extremely mad. That said, the LHN was just an excuse as Gov Rick Perry purposely appointed A&M regents based on their desire to join the SEC. Really, it was the perfect political storm.

At least college baseball hasn't been ruined by money and geed - at least not yet. I enjoy watching true student athletes (some going to the pros, but most going on to other careers) play for the love of the game.

Best of luck to all the teams. 04-cheers

I've been to 'nowhere,' it's much nicer than Lubbock.

The A&M president said on an Aggie website that he had already decided to leave the year before when CU and NU left.
