I told Goodman that Fran Dunphy should easily be in the top 50 considering his many years of success (and despite his recruiting and Tournament failures) and he said he's not in it because of his recruiting and because of the state of our program (i.e. one bad year). No one in the city would say Phil Martelli is a better coach than Fran Dunphy. In fact, talent aside, I think it's pretty much a consensus that Dunphy is the best actual college basketball coach in the city.
