2014 home games for "G5" vs "P5" schools
Going forward with all this talk about the P5 schools not scheduling the G5 schools, I think it's very important to get as many true home games as possible vs P5 schools. Any school can get a 1 and done vs a P5--including FCS schools. Getting a home game scheduled is a whole other issue. A very important matter to us who care. 2014 breakdown by conference:
AAC: (7) UNC @ ECU, TCU & Texas A&M @ SMU, Maryland & NC St @ USF, Georgia Tech @ Tulane, Oklahoma @ Tulsa
MWC: (6) Oregon St & Washington @ Hawaii, Wake Forest @ Utah St, AZ St @ New Mexico, Nebraska @ Fresno St, Washington St @ Nevada,
MAC (6) Indiana @ Bowling Green, Missouri @ Toledo, Baylor @ Buffalo, Syracuse @ Central Michigan, Boston College & Colorado @ UMASS
CUSA (4) Oklahoma St @ UTSA, Texas Tech @ UTEP, Pitt & Louisville @ Florida International
Sun Belt (3) Mississippi St @ South Alabama, Duke @ Troy, Wake Forest @ Louisiana Monroe,
Independents: Virginia @ BYU, Rutgers @ Navy

2014-2016
For UCF, its over after this year. It was a 1-1 with the UCF "home" game in Ireland.
We only signed the deal because Bill O'Brien is good friends with George O'Leary. So now that he is gone, Penn State will probably never play UCF again. Hopefully we sweep the series 2-0 and laugh about what a great deal for UCF it was.
UCF FUTURE SCHEDULES
2014
08/30 - Penn State (at Dublin, Ireland)
09/13 - at Missouri
09/20 - Bethune-Cookman
10/09 - BYU
2015
09/26 - at South Carolina
TBA - at Florida International
2016
09/10 - at Michigan
09/17 - Maryland
TBA - Florida International
2017
09/09 - at Texas
09/23 - at Maryland

Looking a bit further out Temple has Maryland home and home in 18 and 19, then in 20 starts a 4 year home and home with Rutgers.

Sorry, I don't acknowlege the so called term "p5", a fake, made up term by those with an agenda, such as so called "p5" commissioners, and their backers in the media all too willing to follow the company line.

Did you acknowledge any terms for the so called "power 6" when your team won the lottery in 2005? I bet when USF made the big east in 05 you made sure the schools in CUSA and the MWC were designated as a lower class. Did you acknowledge a distinction between 2005-2013? Be honest. Be consistent.

Of course I did. I was a hypocrite. I admit it. That still doesn't make it any less of a bogus, fake, made up term.

I'm glad you have the guts to admit that. If USF were to be called up to the big 12 tomorrow, no USF fan would think about their left behind former comrades in the AAC. Same with each and every other fan of the other 11 schools here. One of the ways this is going to change is for schools who get the call up to remember where they came from and try to help their former peers by at least not feeding the beast and start calling for more fairness. Is every school equal? No. But there are many members of the cartel that have less credibility with their programs historically than non-cartel members. The following schools need to remember where they come from too:Arizona, Arizona St, Utah, and Louisville. The first 3 are founding members of the WAC and the last a founding member of CUSA. Rutgers, a historically bad program never part of a major league until now and TCU, a former SWC school who knows what it feels like to get shafted after their demotion to the minor leagues for 16 years. cheers:

You're right. But the problem is, that every single one of them forgets where they came from and starts believing they are bigger than the rest. I hope the Louisville's of the world are different, but I am not hopeful. Personally, I fell into that with my own thought when USF joined BE. Now that's it taken away, I can see the other side well. This whole system/process is a sham/scam as if you have 2 equal programs and one is worthy and the other is unworthy, simply based on what athletic conference they joined 80 years ago or last week. Now they suddenly are sooo powerful, based on lies and agendas. What a sham.
