Kruciff's bump post was originally near the bottom of its page and it's now the first post on Page 12. The only way for that to happen is for people to delete their previous posts or for mods to do so and I highly doubt mods would be secretly deleting people's posts.

Don't let your salt towards me/UCF blind you.

We have to play better defense and our kicking game must improve in order for that to happen. Being a fan for 40 years has taught me one thing. It is never easy at ECU. We are often times our worst enemy.

Well...It looks like I was dead on from the start. 07-coffee3

You pretty much predicted this season down to the letter. It's scary how good we could have been this year barring the things you mentioned.

We were a couple of breaks and bad decisions from having a very good year. The thing I missed in my prediction was getting momentum after the early upsets. We actually lost momentum after the UNC win. I still don't understand why.

Only UCF is allowed to play the "if" game.

RE: Predict ECU's 2014 football season record
I predicted 8-4 with a 2-2 OOC and 6-2 AAC record. I always factor in a complete WTF game and this year that was Temple. The UC and UCF game were just bizarre games that only ECU can figure out a way to lose a game that should have been won. That is what separates a team from a good 8-4 record and a very solid 10-2. End of the day ECU over achieved with their OOC schedule and under achieved with the AAC schedule.

AAC ended up with a lot of parity which was fun to watch but there was definitely no dominant team this year. We need to get 2 teams a year in the Final Top 25 poll to get any kind of respect and in that aspect this year will be a disappointment because we did not produce a single really good football team out of the AAC

If the bowl participants do well this year, it will go a long way in helping the image of the league and getting the teams more cred with the committee. Time and good play will for sure lend itself to the AAC getting more national exposure. My biggest fear is long term continuity. I have bad feeling raids are coming from other leagues and that won't help with our problem. There are very few good replacements for any teams that bolt. At that point the schools just end back in a revamped CUSA. I hate to be a naysayer..but..I am not optimist that the AAC can hold it together long term. I think Aresco needs to look NOW at expansion of the league in areas that would help with this potential problem. Im not a fan of the hybrid..but..I have a feeling it is going to be necessary...both in FB and BB.
