The cultural makeup of the US has been changing for 200 years... That is not my concern...

My concern is that we are importing people who don't want to be a part of the American fabric rather they think the only exceptional things about our nation is theri job prospects...

I tend to stay out of this topic because this just isn't the case in my experience. We don't have a big Mexican population here, but the smallish population is church going and very much work to assimilate into the American Fabric. The story in the OP is indeed horrifying and I am sure you get a different Mexican immigrant culture in other places. It is just difficult to get but so up in arms about a problem that I just don't see personally.

My head isn't in the sand. I oppose the amnesty programs put out by the democrats and the GOP establishment. I just don't see the Mexican as the boogie man that doesn't want to assimilate. That just hasn't been my experience. I am sure TX, FL, and CA get a different crop based on what I see in the news.

It's coming. You just don't live close enough to it right now, but the problem is coming to you.

Trouble is the unions pushing them so they can add new members and any politicians that
want them so they will vote for their party. They don't have to vie for jobs with them and
only come in contact with them if they are hiring them on the cheap for a job. It's an invasion
and the Army should be dealing with it.

You haven't seen the stories where Mexicans consider parts of California their country and want it back? Or their demand that schools teach in Espanol? Or when they fly the American flag upside down and below the Mexican flag? Or how a white kid wearing an American flag at school offends them?

To practice medicine in California, doctors must obtain a license from the state, and applicants are required to provide a Social Security number as proof of identity.

Rojas, 25, does not have such a number. She is in the United States illegally, having been smuggled into the country from Mexico by her parents when she was 6 months old.
