RE: Tier 3 info finally laid to rest

no disrespect to FSU or clemson. they are terrific programs, however there is no way they are UT or OU level in terms of tv negotiating power. I don't see them making any significant gains from a measurable $$$ standpoint, not to mention the unmeasurable such as donations, academics, history, & recruiting benefits they would lose.
conference realignment from 2010-2012 was driven by p5 schools who were scared over being behind other p5 schools by as much as 10-12 million in the near future. The b12 will most likely have around 1-3 mill advantage over the ACC. Even under the best of circumstances I don't see that number going beyond 4-5 mill. That is not enough to make any ACC school seriously consider switching.
Just . FSU is routinely one of the most-watched programs in the nation and has been for several decades.
Also, FSU is already making $6.6M/year on tier 3, on a contract that was signed in 2007 (so before these contracts really spiked in valuation).
