Houston's back was also against the wall in Baton Rouge last week and won 3 straight do-or-die games to win the regional anyway. No reason they can't do the same today and tomorrow in Austin!

Good luck Houston! 04-cheers

I also believe LSU is better then UT... From what I'm seeing in this Houston and Austin series, we may have left our team back in Baton Rouge, our boys can't seem to do much here.

Painful to watch...

C'mon, let's Go Houston/Coogs!!

0 for this series (it feels like) w/ RISP. So frustrating. I feel like a LSU fan from last weekend. Everything we've hit has gone straight to their fielder's gloves. That's baseball, I guess.

UT isn't very good, and will probably go 0-2 in Omaha.

Great season by Houston!

Winning the AAC tournament is a very nice accomplishment and winning a regional in Baton Rouge versus LSU is special, very few have been able to do it. This team will always be remembered as AAC tournament and NCAA regional champions.

With the Cardinals leaving, Houston looks to be the odds-on favorite to be the best AAC team next season.

Cards back to back to Omaha! Over 6K in attendance tonight. Louisville awaits the Stanford/Vandy winner. UofL ha already defeated Vandy this season in Nashville

6,007 was the official attendance. Best atmosphere I've ever experienced at a baseball game.

GO CARDS!!!

Probably so, but winning the AAC in baseball will never be a cakewalk, especially with Tulane and ECU coming in. Until their current coach came in, Louisville had never won a single game in NCAA regionals (a feat Memphis accomplished 38 years ago: http://beamemphistiger.com/sports/baseba...-history).

That said, good luck to UL in Omaha. Bring that trophy back to the AAC!
