My Team Rockets Contest
Hi everyone. I coach a youth football team in Virginia. We are entered in the My Team Rocks contest on Facebook and need your help for votes. The team with the most votes wins a $100 gift card to Crown Awards, whom we buy our trophies/awards from. We are a non-profit youth football team and I am a volunteer coach. I don't make anything, in fact I spend about $500 a year out of my own pocket for the team. The picture we are battling against for 1st place is from a karate school that is a for-profit business. They don't need the $100 gift card as they are a profitable business that has been around for 30 years. We could really use the gift card. Please click on the link below, like the page, and then click on the Vote button on our team picture to vote for us. You can vote once per day and the contest goes through next Friday. Thank you very much for your help! Below is the link and our team picture that was submitted so that you know for sure who to vote for. Thank you!

I'd help you out, except that I've already voted for my great nephew's team. So you're out of luck with me on this one.

You can actually vote for more than one team. Is your great nephew on the karate team? I'm guessing so since it's pretty much a two-team race.

I won't be voting for more than one team. Family comes first.

Figured, which is why I winked. So, I'm assuming the karate school? I have to admit, I voted a few times for the special needs cheerleaders. I'm just thinking, since the karate school is a profitable business that probably doesn't care about the gift card, maybe they can give the gift card to the special needs cheerleaders when they win. That way the karate school wins because they win the most votes and can consider themselves the champions and the special needs cheerleaders get the gift card to help pay for their awards/trophies so their parents don't have to dish out money for it since they are a non-profit. Sure, my team doesn't get anything out of that, but I feel like we were still winners in life at that point.
Sigh......if only the world worked that way.

Yes, but some suck more than others. It really is a talent for some.
