I'd say that Memphis is just like most other programs and has a mix of very good, reasonable thinking fans, and those that are difficult to deal with. The fan base is a pretty strong one and surprisingly large for the recent lack of football success.

Given an outstanding AD hire at the right time, we'd could have been in the Cards' shoes now, but what's happened........happened. Given (just) a good AD hire, we would certainly be in the Bearcat's shoes.

In the end, we'll be OK with strong hometown corporate support, large fan base, a great city with a diverse culture and significant history to recruit students and student athletes to, and the friendliest people on the planet.
