I don't think anyone from Georgia State is delusional enough to HONESTLY believe that we are anywhere close to getting into the AAC. We tend to leave delusions of grandeur up to you Georgia Southern fans.

Ummmm I can provide you with some links to our board guy, from the glorious ESPN cover days......

Here is one gem!!

No offense, panama. But, JCGSU, let's exclude any posts from Panama or a fella called Saint please. Two people don't represent an entire fan base.

Niether do a few of our fans. I still ask over and over again for actual quotes in mass of our fans that have made the grandioso claims yet nobody can produce any. I have looked, at best you will run across one or two folks who made any over the top posts. Usually goes like this. GaSou Fan "I expect GaSou to be competitive years one" what folks hear or paraphrase "GaSou says it is gonna kill everyone by 21"

.....and Hammer and just about all your posters from the early days on your board. Honestly if you had a fan base back then it would have been worse. Most of your posters have just made it to the party AFTER the mountains of humble pie you have been served. I have a feeling most of them would have been in the same ball park in the beginning.

I want my AD working tirelessly to make sure we are in the best conference available with the best cultural fit available. Period. Fair enough?

All I heard last summer was how great the dome was and I called it a disadvantage in building and gaining support for tickets.

12 months later the GA St. fans now agree.

This is getting tiring and is one of the reasons I will not shed a tear if we leave some day. How many times must we say the same thing? How is the Dome a disadvantage for building and gaining support. LOSING is a disadvantage for gaining support and selling tickets. The Dome is GREAT building to watch a football game. Anyone who says otherwise has eitiher never seen a game there or is just being a douche. We are being presented with an even better option in Turner Field because not only would we get a football stadium , but also facilities for baseball, softball and soccer at the minimum.

I would just love to know what you would have Dome in 2010 other than play in an NFL stadium

I've seen quite a few games in the Dome. I agree it's a good place to watch a game. However, in my opinion, it's a terrible place for a college football game. Nothing about the experience I've had there connects with college football to me. I've been to quite a few stadiums, even the smaller ones felt more connected to the game than the Dome. The atmosphere just doesn't match up, for me.

I agree ya'll took advantage of what ya'll had. That doesn't make some of the points we've raised be any less valid.

Sorry. I have been to more than a few college games in the Dome and you are just wrong. But as with most things on this board there is a clear bias and a utopian vision of what college football should be and anything different is rejected. And now its time to go clean my bbq pit. Lata

You obviously haven't been to the Superdome. Putting the name Mercedes-Benz on that place is like lipstick on a pig.

At least the Georgia Dome never had to contend with the superstition that
it was built on an old cemetery like the Mercedes Benz Superdome.
