To be fair UConn is out in real life and this involves fewer teams than real life, esp given that they aren't finished yet.

In real life there are complexities like geography and the way things have evolved over time. In the theoretical blow it all up and start form scratch, there is simply no way UConn isn't in the top 64.

I generally agree, but these are unrealistically football-centric and UConn isn't in the top 64 in football.

Don't get me wrong, though. I very much miss being in a conference with UConn and want UConn as a non-football ACC member, along with Georgetown and Villanova.

RE: College Draft
Syracuse is absolutely insufferable.

First of all, Oregon State over UConn - please explain that.

Second, non-football member of the ACC? If Cuse, the school we whooped in football from the second we stepped into the Big East, can play football in the ACC so can we.

Why do you think? Pitt and Cuse have the most potential out of anyone that was left in the BE other than WVU. There both in the top 19 of all time wins and can get good again. Pitt in particular; I expect them to get much better under Paul Chryst and win 10 games pretty soon. Cuse doesn't have to win a single football game again because their basketball is so strong. Any thing they do in football is a bonus.

There are other things too. Top 80 in WSNWR rankings, the New York and Pittsburgh markets and Pitt is still pretty good in basketball, but mainly they're the most established schools that get the best TV ratings out of any one that was left.

don't try to explain logic to uconn fans. as far as they are concerned their upstart program played us a few times when we were at our weakest point in program history which means they must be more deserving of an acc bid. who cares about history, tv markets, academics, resources, fanbase, total wealth, and all of that ****...........

Makes perfect sense. You have the 64th and last pick in the draft and you only have three western teams. Adding the Beavers gives you a nice scheduling pod with UCLA, Arizona and Colorado. With no other schools in the northeast, UConn would be an orphan.

IMO, it would have made more sense for Kaiser to have picked the Huskies instead of Rutgers, since he seemed to be going for a basketball-centric league rather than football (not that Rutgers is either). Add UConn to a league with Kansas, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin, Syracuse, Maryland and UNC and you have a great hoops league. Football, not so much.

UConn is terrible in Football right now...not even close to Cuse's level. Check the scoreboard the last time we played.

Thank you...Chris02M's is really sneaky great also. Kaiser built a great Hoops conference but fell a litle short on FB Brands.

That had to be on purpose. How else do you explain picking up UNC with Clemson, Va Tech and West Virginia still on the board to match up with the Vols?

All in all, other than Kaiser, the leagues are all pretty close, and show some clear strategizing (one with 8 far west teams, another with zero).
