Discuss.

But be sensitive to the Vogon race, there's is only the third worse poetry in the universe.

I'm gonna have to brush up on Hitchhikers. I'm only about 40 years late.

I thought you were younger than that.

I thought it was 30. I guess that's b/c I saw it about 30 years ago, I suppose I didn't know how old it was at that point.

I enjoyed reading it the first time (and the TV series). Picked it up a few years ago and it didn't do anything for me.

I've heard of it and played the game, but I haven't read it at all.

RE: Maya Angelou...Vogon?
the trilogy in five parts probably isn't for everyone. but I found it incredibly entertaining and funny. I read the pieces when I was in college, and a couple of years ago, read the whole smash as a single work.

The first tv series was in 1981, the radio show started in 1978.

I'm kind of jealous of the people that got to see this stuff at the time, like Hitchhiker's and Doctor Who.

Yeah man, even though it looks like crap now, shows in the 80's were pretty amazing, then again, it could have been because I was just a kid.

I've never cared about Dr Who. I did like H2G2, and I thought the TV did fine w/ the effects and imagination.

I got lucky to see H2G2, I got mixed up as to the days that Monty Python was on, and turned on the TV to find a show w/ a british guy lying down in front of a bulldozer to save his house. It wasn't Monty Python, but I thought I'd give it a try. So I caught the series from the beginning.
