Maybe Cincinnati should get on the phone and see if they can open the renovated Nippert stadium with Bama. That would be a great way to open it up.

Special event for cincy, not so much for Alabama. Alabama players will start to wonder why the grand opening of their practice facility took place in Ohio.

I doubt Bama would come to Brighthouse to face UCF, but they might be willing to have a home/home if the UCF home game was at the renovated citrus bowl. That would be a good move for both sides. It is the biggest and most centralized football stadium in the city. That being said, going to South Carolina and playing Bama would be a ridiculously hard OOC schedule.

However, the Tide did roll the Bearcats in the old Riverfront Stadium in 1984.

you have read it in context, they arent desperate because they cant find anyone to do a home and home with them, they are desperate because they want a one and done with an aac/mwc/lower p5 caliber teams and we probabaly see no value in that.

the loss is a 95% chance putting us in a whole for the g5 spot, we arent getting a return, basically shamed for some money. if they are going to do a 1 and done, there are names just as big with a dramatically higher chance of winning (Michigan, Florida, USC etc.) or do a home and home with a mid tier p5

I could see 'Bama playing at Paul Brown...maybe.
I could see the Bearcats going to play a one-off down in Tuscaloosa.
I can't see a circumstance that sees 'Bama playing in Nippert.

If Brighthouse is good enough for Texas, it's certainly good enough for Alabama.

If the committee do in fact stick to the music (strength of schedule) they've been selling then the AAC's phone will ring quite a bit.

I mean, the AAC is the sixth best conference after all, so why wouldn't it... Right??

Not that I ever think they would, but interestingly enough Bama did make a trip to Duke and that dump of a stadium they play in a couple of years ago. I guess maybe it was for some sort of recruiting purposes but even still that one never made a lot of sense to me.

Nick Saban is complete and utter scum. He recently complained that scheduling for Bama is very difficult, what a crock of shat. Plenty FBS teams would play a pay game at Bama and any difficulty is because everything has to be on Bama (actually Saban's terms). The guy is the best coach in college FBall no doubt, but he has only the tiniest amount of class. He bullies everyone and creates this alternate reality to placate his donors/fanbase. It works but he out to be ashamed of himself and deep down cannot be happy person (despite the millions).

And They also said that they would never open up a stadium again after the game + I'm sure with the South Carolina scare last year everyone in the SEC is clamoring to come to brighthouse

Bama needs a game in 2015, ECU needs a home game in 2015. We can even base the venue on contingency. ECU already plays @ Florida that year. If the pirates win in the swamp, the Tide come to Greenville. If not, we'll go to Tuscaloosa.

**** Bama, Saban thinks they should only play Cartel schools and talks plenty of **** about our schools, time for him to man up.
