You have to start somewhere. ECU had never won a game in a postseason tournament before Lebo got here. In his 3rd year, he won the CIT Tournament. That was a big deal to Pirate fans, and we know how big that was for Pirate basketball.

NIT is a possibility, but with the acknowledged step-up in competition moving to the AAC, ECU fans will continue to be patient with Lebo. Expectations for Memphis and expectations for ECU are drastically different. First, we want to be competitive in games. (We've more than accomplished that.) Then we want to WIN those games. (We've begun doing that.) THEN we will worry about what tournament we land in.

Not trolling just saying I want a competive ECU and Lebo needs to be fired

Lebo has given ECU its most success ever in basketball since he's gotten here. He's recruiting at the highest level in ECU history...
ECU isn't exactly a dream job for high-profile coaches... so, who would you suggest, if not Lebo?

I couldn't be happier than I am with having Jeff Lebo as head basketball coach. He's changing the basketball culture at ECU.

Those on the outside who suggest Lebo should be fired know little to nothing about ECU's basketball history, or the tale of the past 3 seasons.

THIS^^^^^^^^^

Lebo is doing fine. This past year was full of bad luck. And you hit the nail on the head as to the level of talent he brings in being on the rise.

RE: CBSsports: AAC Conference Catchup/Preview
It is getting really tiring watching the useless attack from Geotag on ECU basketball. I think ECU basketball has done great the past few years and have been pretty competitive. I enjoy the start of most threads and then always they get derailed into an attack by fans from couple of teams. There are always going to be some teams that are better then the other in one sports in every conference. Memphis is a better basketball program overall then most in this conference along with UCONN, Cincy, Temple etc. ECU has been a better football program along with others and everyone is working to better there weakness. I do not see a single program that is not trying to get better. Why don't we just leave it at that. If an administration or coach has not shown a desire or ability to improve then I am sure the fans of their program will be the first to scream ... A la Porter and Memphis football.
