Man, I remember that last one when Auburn ran back the Alabama kick. I can't stand either team, but I was flipping out with cheers when I saw that, which told me I definitely don't like Alabama more..........lol.

The Alabama - Auburn play is, IMO, the greatest football play ever, at least that I've seen in 40+ years of watching college and NFL.

And I had no skin in that game, not a fan or hater of either school. But given the totality of the circumstances, that play just can't be beat.

Agree. I remember sitting in my living room thinking, ok, overtime. Guess i was wrong. Craziest moment i can remember watching, ever!.

It's not from last year (in fact, it's from nearly 10 years ago now), and it wasn't really a relevant game, but this is one of the greatest total homer calls I've ever heard.

SMU caps off an 80 yard, 23 second drive with this play against UAB in 2005 to snap a 14-game road losing streak:
