RE: Largest Employer in Each State
This is wrong for Tennessee.....

TN's largest employers are Fedex (31,000) and Walmart (32,000). Vanderbilt (20,000) has fewer employees than either one

Nissan is right behind at around 16,000

Those numbers are incorrect.

There is no way that Vanderbilt has 57,000 employees in TN. They only claim 21,000
http://www.vanderbilt.edu/info/facts/

Wal-Mart doesn't even appear on the list and employees 6,000 in Shelby County alone. http://www.shelbycountytn.gov/DocumentCe.../View/1968

Nissan has 7500 in manufacturing alone, not even counting their design center and corporate headquarters. http://nissannews.com/en-US/nissan/usa/c...act-Sheets

FedEx employees 11,000 at the Airport MegaHub alone, not including 100 other facilities in TN with about an additional 20,000 employees.

The truth is, Wal-Mart is probably the largest employer in most states. They employ 1.4 million people in America alone.

I've never heard of Bartercard. Yet they employ roughly 8x more people than BMW's enormous plant in Spartanburg.
