Less Than 25% of West Point Cadets Stood Up For Obama After He Was Introduced…
[Image: w22a7l.jpg]

Bunch of racists....

Quote:President Obama was welcomed by the Black Knight of the Hudson for his speech at West Point on Wednesday, but less than 25 percent of the cadets gave him a standing ovation upon his introduction, the Daily Mail reported.

“Receiving tepid applause and a short standing ovation from less than one-quarter of the audience upon his introduction, Obama argued for a contradictory foreign policy that relies on NATO and the United Nations while insisting that ‘America must always lead on the world stage,’ the paper reported.

During his speech, which the Wall Street Journal called “consistent with that of every post-Cold War administration,” the president also took a swipe at critics, saying: “I believe in American exceptionalism with every fiber of my being. But what makes us exceptional is not our ability to flout international norms and the rule of law; it’s our willingness to affirm them through our actions.”

The flounderer in chief. Least those in West Point can see through the glare of the shiny object, and not be distracted by such silliness as those in our estimable "Ivy Leagues".

When's the next devil worship pogrom scheduled for Hawvawd, or the sit in for transgender, hairless monkey-lipped, neutered turtle-tailed, one-winged bat eyed owl, that sits in a wooden mailbox, equality day at Dartmouth? Perhaps the new generation- Let me show off my pithair "girls" party at Princeton like the one I had the misfortune of going to?

Somebodies eyes are clear. Good for them.

Even CNN pointed out what a crappy speech he gave to the Cadets and the reception the Cadets gave him.

The link is no bueno.

What is the protocol for cadets attending a speech by the president? Are they supposed to stand, sit, or do whatever they want?

You morons do realize the quoted article says that less that 1/4 of the AUDIENCE stood at the President's introduction, right? The cadets did not rise for the President's introduction, but instead rose and saluted for his entrance and rose at the conclusion of his speech. The cadets are given detailed instructions prior to the beginning of the ceremony telling them exactly when they are to stand, salute, and be seated. It's such a simple story, yet you morons get it wrong. It's par for the course when it comes to you righties.

Yah, I dont know much about this story, because frankly I dont care, but what I do know is the military which is big on pageantry and uniformity. So my first thought on this thread title was it would be odd that the US Military Academy would allow cadets to express themselves individually instead of a uniformed response.

Weather was cold and wet.

That's because of the global warming in the tropical region moving the cold out of the area while it heats.

There is nothing wrong with that. They are within their right to do so.

We teach our students if you like something at a formal event, you clap politely and if you like it a lot, you stand up and clap.

Pretty simple. I'm glad they are teaching these young people the same thing.
