I’m pretty sure limiting it to male and female is neo-bigoted.

RE: The World as 100 People
Interesting....gotta wonder about these two pieces of data:

1. 48 out of 100 live on less than $2 per day
2. 75 out of 100 have a cell phone.

I don't doubt the data... just curious how so many that live on less than $2 per day can have a cell phone.

Also, just noticed......77 out of a 100 have no shelter but 75 out of a 100 have a cell phone. So, all things being equal, 2% of the people on the planet have a cell phone but no shelter.

Yeah, I have no idea as to the accuracy of the data. I just thought it was interesting. I found it interesting that only 1 out 100 was starving. Figured it would have been more.

As much as we hear about the starving kids in China, Africa, and Ethiopia, you're right... Seems like it should be more than 1.

As many folks as we get asking for money to help those starving people, you'd think it was at least 25 out of 100.

Beat me to it. 1% is still a helluva lot of people.
