In the twelve years of public schooling I only ate in the cafeteria one time. I hated it. My mom would fix my lunch, tuna fish sandwiches, bologna, spam, anything that was available. Sometimes it would be all soggy (LOL) and I stilled preferred that. It's a wonder I never got sick from my lunch being in a hot school locker all morning. God is wonderful, I tell you. He takes care of the poor.

Laura wanted kids to learn the very things they're in school to learn and reading is one of them. If a kid eats 3 meals a day then how is just 5 school lunches a week going to make any difference to their overall girth, especially when no one knows what they're eating at home? And if Moochelle looks at black women in general, if she had a brain, she'd know they didn't get obese from school lunches.
