They lost 3 of their 5 top scorers who accounted for about half of their points and over 70% of their 3's. They won't likely be as good.

But they have a good coach so they've already one upped us.

SFA should still be pretty good, a top 100 team. Great for our RPI at the end of the year. A bread and butter OOC game.

I just hope that we don't get sold some silly bill of goods like a couple years ago when Ohio and Harvard were being played off as quality games on the home schedule because Ohio had been to the S16 the year before and Harvard was expected to be an NCAA Tourney team.

SFA had a great year LAST year but loses three of their top five players, which is still likely enough to win the Southland, but probably not going to keep them on the level of last year.

Yes, a "nice" game, like the Harvard/Ohio games last season. Not a "marquee" game like Baylor/OSU next season. SFA is a team we should crush without breaking a sweat but which makes our resume look better at the end of the year. That's how we game the RPI.

Agree about gaming the RPI. Just don't want the spin that SFA is a high-level team and should be a "circle the calendar" type game.

WSU, for sure. Just more referring to OOC home sched. Just hoping OSU and SFA aren't 1a and 1b "best" OOC home games.
