That's the worst FBS schedule I've ever seen. Absolutely pathetic.

No denying that! I didn't even know Rhode Island had a football team! Are they FCS?

Really though it is the best strategy for Marshall to sneak in, if they were playing a hard schedule they would give themselves absolutely no chance, MAC/Sun Belt etc should schedule cupcakes and pray people get lost in the undefeated talk.

I was wondering how Marshall could possibly be going to an access bowl, and then I saw that schedule. My god.

I think that's where our defensive coordinator from last year accepted a head coaching offer. Maybe his presence on the sidelines will induce panic on the Marshall team as they recall their last encounter: even with their all-world QB Cato.

We had Louisville before they joined the AAC. Had to replace them with someone.

I think the best teams on Marshall's schedule will be Middle Tennessee and FAU, 2 teams that had pretty athletic defenses. Honorable mention to Ohio. Marshall gets all three of those at home.

I doubt they ever set foot in Huntington now.

RE: ESPN: Way-too-early bowl projections
most dont know that the ranking isnt like regular rankings

they way they rank will hurt us vs P5 but will severely hurt Marshall vs everyone else.

they vote 3-5 at a time (till they reach 25) this is used so to make you look at everyones schedule.
this will hurt marshall
and honestly 3-4 years into the system maybe marshall would have gotten in, but theyve non stopped preached SOS by the committee and on the first year put the nations worst SOS in?

They're coming in 2016. And if they were going to try and buy out the contract, they would have already done so. We also got a basketball game with them out of situation...

Contrary to your false belief, schools outside of the Ivies don't schedule OOC games based on perceived admissions standards.
