RE: Old Dominion Baseball in the NCAA Tournament
The way it ended hurts, but congrats to our baseball Monarchs on an outstanding year. If our football team guts it out this year the way our basketball and baseball teams did in their first year in C-USA, we are all going to be a happy bunch this fall.

That is almost all of college baseball nowadays after they deadened the bats. 75% of the teams just play small ball.

Listened to the Campbell broadcast (I live 30 minutes from there), they thought ODU relief pitchers seemed nervous. I believe Campbell has stayed with and even beaten some ACC teams this year, not a total shock to have lost to them.
It really looked that way. But, I would have thought our guys were used to pressure situations. Maybe the NCAA tourney was a whole nother level of pressure.

agreed. not sure I've ever seen a walk off win from a hit batter. then they blow the campbell game by doing the same thing (though not a walk off this time).
