It would be better if someone would add a nice big CO in front of the football. Also, someone needs to add tournament to the basketball. Just so we're clear.

You are right though, I would take these over the Bubba's Cup title in a heart beat.

That's problem no 1 people don't know when to stop, then it becomes a name calling thread and then it becomes a Name of my school thread. We've all been down this road before. LOL but if you are all good with giving them time to get it out of their system oh well.

Maybe the respect problem is that they named a trophy with a weird scoring system that doesn't mean much after a good guy.

The scoring system is weak but the folks complaining by twisting the name to an insult have a president and AD to appeal to for change.

Regarding the name I used, I apologize for my ignorance. No idea who Vic Bubas was and I follow sports pretty damn hard. Must have been someone from up north somewhere. Sorry, but the scoring system sucks, which is the primary reason I chose the name I did. If your feelings are hurt, you are a wussy of the third kind.
