Like all NFL teams, the Seahawks give their draft picks extensive physicals. The physical revealed that 6th round pick Garrett Scott had a heart condition that would prevent him from playing.

Yes, they cut him but they also signed him to a contract BEFORE cutting him. That is 500k they didn't have to spend.
