??? SHS was on our schedule as a mid-week home and home long before Coach Pierce was hired...and they were pretty good back then, as well.

Sean Allen the former UH infielder and Pierce's assistant at Sam turned down the HC job at Sam to go to Tulane with Pierce. I'm sure the pay is better, but I'm not sure if that's a great career decision.
