My routine is similar. I grab the pot by the handle, pull it from the coffee maker, tilt the top of the coffee pot to a 45 degree angle over a mug like container until 3/4ths full, replace pot onto maker, and then drink from mug like container.
uh oh I'm getting an olfactory memory....dirty brown tower....tall...going under a rr pass headed toward big intersection with a grassy median....

No Folgers/Maxwell House...but, my wife has a Keurig...and....I have used it from time to time  ...it's just so darn convenient!

I buy the Jamaican blend at Costco and grind it fine. Tastes great, when you can't get McDonald's. Much better than that nasty Starbucks.

Convenient yes but to me the coffee is not very good. But then I'm not a starbucks coffee snob.
Keurig makes good hot water.
