With KOCH on first and WILSON on second with 1 out, super soph ZARLEY ZALEWSKI doubled to right center, knocking in 2 RBI and breaking the 0-0 tie. Curtis OLVEY singled to center field to score ZARLEWSKI for a 3-0 Flashes lead! Too bad it's blacked out, but I am listening to the radio and watching the gamecast!

OLVEY move to second on a passed ball, then took 3rd on a wild pitch ball four to Jeff REVESZ so Flashes have men on 1st & 3rd with 2 outs and threatened to put on another run but a fly out gives the Flashes a 3-0 lead over the Zits moving to the top of the 9th!

CF Jon Wilson went 4/4 with a run scored, Curtis Olvey was 2/4 with an RBI, with the big hit coming from Zarely Zalewski lining a double into the outfield plating two Flashes runs and also scored a run!




Good pitching today as well with Clark going 6.2 and yielding just 4 hits and striking out two, while Fasola went 2.1 innings allowing just one hit and striking out a batter to end a Zit threat in the 7th with a running in scoring position.

And that's without All-MAC outfielder Alex Miklos, and starting shortstop Sawyer Polen. I don't know if we'll have either back for the NCAAs

Funniest part of Wilson going 4/4 is none of his hits left the infield. 4 infield hits in a game might be some kind of record.

Looks like Scott Stricklin is starting to take Georgia in the right direction. Last years record was 21-31 and this years record was 26-29-1.
