Masahiro Tanaka
Had a 42 game winning streak. Between Japan League and the Yankees was 30-0 over the past two season coming into tonight. He left Wrigley Field tonight 30-1.

That would be beating up on the Cards aces.

So he wasn't the partner of Paul Diamond that formed Badd Company and then won the AWA Southern Tag Team Championship, defeating Jeff Jarrett and Billy Joe Travis?

Amazing that the Cubs were able to beat the Cards 5 out of 8 games and still maintain their composure to keep the worst record in baseball.

@EliasSports 6h
Jeff Samardzija is the 1st pitcher to go winless in his 1st 9 starts of a season w/ an ERA below 2.00. @Cubs vs @Yankees—2 pm, @YESNetwork.

Cubs still paying Soriano more to play for the Yanks than they pay any player on their own roster. Oh, and thankfully they still have Jose Veras. Always amazed at how many Yankee fans are in the ball park when they go on the road (except in Boston). Wrigley was going crazy when NY tied it in the 9th.

This cat is a pitcher, not just a thrower. I think Tanaka is pretty amazing.
