Statistics from the bellwether states of California, Texas and Colorado, where Hispanic populations are the highest, indicate that the President’s efforts failed, especially among young Hispanics who make up 65% of the Latino population in the US. Again, economics, rather than fear of immigration authorities, seem to be the primary reason behind their lack of enrollment.

The Libre Initiative explained it this way: “The Administration has pinned its hopes for this law’s success on enrollments in the Latino community. But people are seeing that premiums and deductibles are too high. They understand that the Latino population – which is much younger than the rest of America – is being called on to bear a disproportionate share of the cost of this new system. They know that this is unfair. For most Latinos – as for most Americans – it’s just not a good deal.”

This is ALWAYS the outcome when they try and go against the human nature of people doing what is "best" for themselves.

Somehow, the lefties always think that because a certain percentage of people allow themselves to be led around like sheep, that everyone will - and the majority still don't.

People will almost always act in what is their own best self interest.
