The QB position holds the key to the season. He does not have to be Jordan Lynch but needs to make good decisions with the ball and get the ball to the right person.

He thinks that is low for us. Other than last year being in the 60's is as good as it gets.

We will always be ranked much lower than we should be because our school name consists of two words and one of them is a direction.

They have Bowling Green, the clear preseason MAC favorite for 2014, ranked 81st, proving once again that national prognosticators practically pull names out of a hat when it comes to the MAC.

I think they look at last year and then use a random number generator to raise or lower the ranking from there. Well, I can't think of any other way to explain it.

I think they just spend 10 seconds to come up with a guess because they simply do not care.

Or you know, they use math.

Yeah I saw that, too. Does losing a Head coach really drop you that low? We lose our QB and, we lost to them last year in the MACC. I'd still expect them to be ahead of us.

#64 is higher than usual.

Cinderella seasons start with low rankings.

A certain poster might say something like this ...

They are probably ranking the Huskies higher early on so when they struggle and lose a few games the media can have a huge backlash against NIU. They are still mad about the Orange Bowl, so the they will use anyway to take it out on the Huskies.
