Nothing wrong with that. Hope we all are doing that.

Thanks

Yep, and if we all do. We may find that we aren't so anxious to leave.

I will be really impressed if the cajuns get 45,000 attendance for any game in 2014.

Last time we opened against Southern in 2009, the attendance was 41, 357. Southern travels well and is only 50 miles up I-10.

This is the record crowd for Cajun Field. Cajun field only seats 31,000 but they pack the overflow on both endzone hills.

Now the seating will be up to 38,000 plus the North endzone hill for overflow. I would be very surprised if there wasn't 45,000 for the Southern opener, especially with the team the Cajuns are returning.

I won't be surprised. I'm certain there is a lot of anticipation for this year.

So it does somebody in this conference some good to perpetuate the meme that the conference is something everyone wants out of and that it is unstable?

I fail to see how that does anybody any good but I'm listening.

Not a problem, you go ahead and stay.

Just a little bump to let all know construction is ongoing. Here's a few new photos of the end zone and concession/bath room areas in the south end zone.

Making it into bowl really makes the stadium look like an FBS stadium. It didn't before now. Great work! Looks awesome!

RE: Louisiana Stadium Expansion......
I posted a review of Lafayette and your stadium a few months ago after returning from the TXST-UL game. The few things I mentioned is that you had a big stadium that was built to look small (2 sided, no endzone seating, second deck on home side only). This will really help. I also noticed the concrete footing for a second deck on the visitor's side, which I'd imagine is the next expansion.

I also noticed how bad the scoreboard/videoboard was.

Both of those seem to be addressed with this expansion, congrats!

New Videoboard on the way. They are working out a fiber issue right now.

A second deck on the visitor's side is in Phase III of the Master Plan. Right now, Phase I is funded and most of Phase II (new second deck and suites on home side, baseball renovation) funding has been secured.

It'll be a few years before we begin securing funding for Phase III.
