MOPPER, You should do this for the Bearcats. I think you are one of the most knowledgeable about all the football teams.

I'd rather see how we do in the overall top 25, than something restricted to G5. Divisions haven't split yet.

It was depressing reading that list of schools and thinking we are part of that.

Wow, this just feels too much like those old basketball "mid-major" rankings one of the websites used to do. Why would UC want to associate with this ranking system while making the case for P5 inclusion? For my part, no thanks.

I tend to agree with this; however, the top G5 champion earns the access bowl bid so it not completely out of place. I think a top 10 would make more sense because that would cover everyone that has shot at earning the bowl bid.

Rather see these schools put a legal team together and go after the 5 Bigs.

Agree. There will be the official poll come out that will decide the Access Bowl invitee - that's the one that counts.

This looks like a "participation" medal for kids that aren't good enough, but we don't want to hurt their feelings. If we're going to make the argument for P5 inclusion, we can't afford to settler for a "G5 ranking" - it just proves the separation between the haves and the havenots.

Where is Chatter when we really need him? He would have relished this role.
