Being in the AAC has not affected UCONN WBB recruiting
In WBB recruiting, UCONN is still doing fine.

Today, UCONN just landed ESPN's #1 WBB recruit. Her two sisters play for Stanford. She is the 3rd top 10 recruits committed to UCONN this year. It is not easy taking a CA kid out of CA with a Stanford scholarship offer.

Quote:Samuelson made an unofficial visit to UConn in January. She chose the Huskies over Kentucky, Notre Dame, Stanford and UCLA. Her sisters, Bonnie and Karlie, currently play at Stanford.

All Geno has to do is wear the last couple rings on the recruitment trip.

UConn could play in the MEAC and they'd still recruit at an elite level.

Why would it affect recruiting? Doesn't matter the conference when you win by 30-50 either way.

Not all recruits believe the ESPN bullcrap. UCONN has a long history of WBB success. I don't see that changing because of the AAC.
