Not beating the Hoax a seventh straight time in baseball could screw our season. Like I always say, ULM is no different than WKU, USA, ASU in regards to rivalry. If we lose it only shows how pathetic our effort was so yes I am offended anytime I lose to the Hoax. At least the others usually are pretty solid and are just obstacles to our goals.
In other words we have no respect for this particular bad program. It does not surprise me that so many of you love your almost guaranteed win. After all most of you wanted the SB-C to take another weak sister football program so you get you magic dozen. You really do not care how bad the conference is viewed as long as you can walk around and say FBS, FBS.
So I guess you are easily offended by that loss in football and split in basketball to the Warhawks. Seriously, you idiots are the ones with the obsession. I've been saying in other threads how well your athletics program is doing and have been pulling for your baseball team to stay on top besides for in our games cause I think it helps the conference. Yet, some of you feel the need to trash us at every turn. Don't think people can't see through to who is really the obsessed.
You and the 15 other fans you have bring it upon yourselves,
We are Louisiana.

Please find a hobby down there. The moaning and complaining you do on here is pathetic.
LMAO!! Does it rival your whining and moaning about what we chose to call ourselves? Doubtful.. Tell Tabby we said, hey...
Z
I never hear UL-L mentioned except on here so yes all the whine and moan I hear is from Cajun fans, mostly you.

How does ULM's athletic budget effect ULL? You do know ULL takes more money from the general fund than ULM?
Yes we do because we are twice as large. But we transfer less than the allowable percentage, something that ULM and La Tech both do.
Actually our athletics programs are the least subsidized out of the three.
Friend its no secret that ULM can ill afford to use all the monies the state allows for athletics. You need as much as you can to keep your university afloat. Tell me I am lying.. I dare you.

I point out an inaccurate point already made, So you change the Discussion again. No university is dealing with the massive budget cuts from the state well, and I personally would rather the money stay towards education than athletics. We are also in better shape than several others in the state.

Congrats. That doesn't mean you are in great shape. If the state came in and said NO MORE athletic subsidies, your athletic program would fold or be relegated to 1AA. Not so for UL.

With ULM being the least subsidized athletic department in the sun belt I doubt that be the case. We are currently 70% self-sustaining, most g-5's are not even 50%. I believe UL-L is somewhere in the 60% range. So, keep dreaming about our drop it's never going to happen.

If self-sustaining means cutting the lowest athletic budget in the FBS, then your program is certainly that today.

The ULM team was getting the foul balls during the game and keeping them for batting practice. They cannot afford baseballs for batting practice or to wash their uniforms while they are on the road. It's time for them to fold up shop or petition Arkansas to become part of their state.

I don't know if your post was an attempt at humor or if you are a special needs person.
The home team allows the visiting team to use their laundry facilities to wash their uniforms. As far as foul balls, I'm sure ULM bench players were behind the stands fighting little kids for foul balls.
On a side note, ULM didn't budget the money for the baseball team to go to Mobile so as we speak the team is hitchhiking to Mobile. Keep your fingers crossed we make it on time. Also, we are using West Monroe High's new baseball pants. God knows we don't want to embarrass ULL.

I am not sure your team could beat West Monroe High in most sports, but it is good to see y'all are working together.
As far as special needs goes I do not think your attempt at humor is funny and is inappropriate, but I would not expect anything different from a ULM grad and probably LSPoo fan.

I don't think it will resort to that. The parents decided to car pool them to Mobile and they did a car wash to earn enough money for tents to sleep on the beach 4 to a tent. As for WM high school they have more football uni's than the whole SBC combined and that's no joke.

Bout time you guys take a pro active approach to how your very appearance is an embarrassment to the conference let alone the RPI, and ARP hits.
Nothing wrong with being poor, but it ain't a banner of accomplishments either.
